Silo trucks are widely used for the safe and environmentally friendly transportation of powdered and granular materials such as cement, coal powder, limestone powder, gypsum, aluminum oxide, calcium carbonate, flour and starch. These vehicles both isolate the materials from the external environment and make transportation safe. 

The process of loading materials into silo trucks is usually carried out by means of bellows located under the silos.
